Things to Do

Secluded on three private lakes on a forested, 300-acre country estate, criss-crossed by trails, recreational possibilities are endless.

We provide all equipment for canoeing, kayaking and row-boating* on spring-fed Lake Wahdoon. Relax on the beach between dips in the crystal-clear water. Or go fishing for large mouth bass and panfish-catch & release only. Bring your own tackle and order a fishing license at www.activeoutdoorsolutions.com. Or, get a one-day license in town for just $10.

*The lake is strictly non-motorized, and watercraft are limited to our own fleet, to prevent cross-contamination from other bodies of water.

A stroll in our organic garden is sure to relax the mind while stimulating the senses. The garden is the source of much of Chef's seasonal produce, as well as many of our Florist's unique creations.

Our extensive library of current hardcover books and magazines allows guests to catch up on their reading. Many have said they could have spent the entire day in our Great Room/Library and they're most welcome to! Take advantage of our up-to-date movie library, too.

The Fitness Center lets guests keep up their fitness routine while away from home. There are treadmills and elliptical trainers, plus a multi-stack weight system and recumbent bike all located on the second floor of the Lodge.

Miles of onsite hiking trails are the perfect way to take in the bounties of this natural setting. In winter, explore the whole property on snowshoes. We provide free snowshoe rentals.
