LOVE THE OUTDOORS?
THIS IS PARADISE
Summer or Winter, always something to do...or not.
The list of summertime activities is nearly endless. Hiking, running or walking on miles of trails; canoeing & kayaking; swimming; lounging by the lake; fishing; biking; exploring the gardens. Yes, there is a fitness center on property. Golfing is right nearby, and area fishing guides are available. You can't help but check out the amazing wildlife that call this little piece of paradise home.
In Winter, there's snowshoeing on-site (we loan out titanium-frame snowshoes), plus cross country and downhill skiing not far away, and you can even try your hand at ice fishing. Step into the open air in the evening and you may be able to spot the northern lights (as seen from Canoe Bay above).
Or maybe simply schedule an in-room massage.
NOTE: Personal watercraft are not permitted, due to invasive species concerns.
SNOWSHOEING & SKIING
Snowshoe right on the property...we have snowshoes for you! Nearby Cross Country and Downhill Skiing
Step outside and discover the enchantment of Canoe Bay in winter. With over 300-acres to explore, plus the frozen lakes, it's a truly magical season to visit. And the best part? We offer complimentary snowshoes for you to enjoy the winter landscape!
Find 20 miles of classic and diagonal stride cross-country ski trails in the Blue Hills, only 25-minutes away (www.bluehillstrail.com), or bring your personal cross country ski gear and make your own paths across the property.
No-wait downhill skiing is enjoyed at Christie Mountain, also a 25-minute drive away (www.christiemountain.com), with rental equipment available there.
